This policy explains what data FilesToQBO (filestoqbo.com, "we", "us") handles and why. Questions: support@filestoqbo.com.

Free converters: nothing is uploaded

The CSV, OFX, QFX, QIF, QBO, Excel and IIF converters run entirely in your web browser. Your files are read and converted on your own device. They are never uploaded to our servers or stored by us, and we never see their contents.

PDF statement conversion

PDF conversion is a paid feature that requires signing in. When you use it:

  • Your PDF is uploaded over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection.
  • It is processed to extract the transactions, then deleted right after processing.
  • Converted output is kept only as long as your conversion history needs it, so you can download it again.
  • Your files and their contents are never sold and never used to train AI models.

Account data

You sign in with a one-time email code or with Google. We do not use passwords. For signed-in users we store:

  • your email address
  • your plan
  • usage counts, such as PDF pages used
  • conversion history details, such as file names, dates and page counts

We use this data only to run the service, enforce plan limits and answer support requests.

Payments

Payments are handled by Creem and / or Waffo, acting as Merchant of Record. They process your card details and sales taxes. We never see or store your card number.

Cookies and analytics

We use only the essential cookies needed to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies. If we add analytics later, we will update this policy first.

Service providers

We rely on these providers to run FilesToQBO. Each one only receives the data it needs for its job.

  • Vercel: Website hosting
  • Cloudflare: Domain name system (DNS) and email routing
  • Resend: Sign-in codes and account emails
  • Creem and / or Waffo: Payments, as Merchant of Record
  • PDF recognition provider (to be confirmed): Reading PDF statements; processed in the United States or Singapore, not mainland China

Your choices

You can ask for a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account and its data by emailing support@filestoqbo.com.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update it here and change the date at the top of this page.
