About FilesToQBO

What it does

FilesToQBO turns the files banks give you into files QuickBooks can import. It converts PDF bank statements and bank CSV, OFX, QFX and QIF exports to QBO (Web Connect), and QBO files back to CSV or Excel. The files work with QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop.

How it is different

• Files stay on your device. Conversion runs in your browser. Your statements and transaction files are not uploaded to our servers.
• PDF statements are checked against their balances. Before you download, the converter compares the opening balance plus the extracted transactions with the closing balance printed on the statement.
• File format conversions are free. CSV, OFX, QFX, QIF and QBO conversions need no signup. PDF statements include 3 free pages a day with a free sign-in, and paid plans add more.

What it does not do

FilesToQBO reads text-based USD PDF statements. It does not include OCR, so scanned or image-only PDFs will not convert. It does not connect to your bank or to your QuickBooks account.

FilesToQBO is built and operated by Anxiong He, an individual based in Hong Kong. It is an independent tool and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Intuit Inc.
